Akazi terms of use
1. What Akazi is. Akazi connects people who need work done or goods delivered with workers and sellers in Rwanda. Akazi is a marketplace, not the employer of workers.
2. Payments. All payments go through Akazi. The client pays before work starts; Akazi holds the money and releases it to the worker, minus the platform fee, when the client confirms the job is done. Paying a worker outside the platform removes buyer protection and may lead to account suspension.
3. Contact details. Phone numbers are shared only after a booking is paid, and only between the two parties of that booking.
4. Ratings. Both parties may rate each other after a completed booking. Fake reviews lead to removal.
5. Disputes. If something goes wrong, open a dispute from the booking page before confirming. The Akazi team will review the chat and evidence and decide.
6. Tool loans. Loans are offered at Akazi's discretion to workers with a good record and are repaid automatically from earnings on the platform.
7. Conduct. Be honest about prices and skills, show up on time, respect each other. Illegal services are not allowed.
